I only stayed for two rounds of my first Friday Night Magic, one of which I won by default because my opponent didn’t show up lol. My second match was against the shop’s owner, though, and he wiped me out pretty quick. orz We were the first ones done, so I decided to look at cards to pump up my deck. I also bought three booster packs, and I drew Karn Liberated.

On top of the poster of Sorin I also got as a freebie, I’d say that last night was worth it. :3c
uuuu I’ll be heading off to my first Friday Night Magic in just a couple of hours. I am excited and nervous! Mostly nervous! But I really want to play Magic this summer, and I’m not going to get a chance otherwise, so I’ll have to jump in feet first…
People at the card shop have been really nice the two times I went, though, so I’m optimistic. ;///;
hhhh I need to get on top of my western civilization homework, though, aaa summer classes…
It’s pretty uncommon that my dreams have such a solid track of… plot? Is that the word I want? I mean, I dream vividly often, but it’s fragmented, and there’s hardly anything worth sharing as a story.
But last night…
We were in a superstore, like a Walmart equivalent. When I say “we,” I mean me, maybe two other people, and I think Lady Gaga. (Seriously.) We had barricaded ourselves in pretty well, but we knew that zombies would manage to get in. Fortunately, like we hoped, it was only a minimal number around us at any time. We could easily shoot them down, and boy, what I a sharp shooter.
But we realized that the numbers around us were growing, and no matter how many times we shot them, most of them wouldn’t go down. That’s when we realized that we were out of ammo (??? not sure why it took that to make us realize), and I yelled that we needed to bail out of the store.
We did, and I stuck with Lady Gaga, and once we were outside, everything was much more calm.
I’m glad that all the time I’ve entertained myself with hypothetical zombie invasion scenarios lead to a dream where I knew what to do.
heh.
